Christina Haack, born on 7 July 1983 in Anaheim California. Her first employment was in the Real Estate Industry. She met Tarek Al Moussa while working in the industry of real estate. They were extremely successful until the 2008 market crash, when a lot of real estate investors and house flippers failed. As a result of the financial crisis, Tarek and Christina El Moussa were close to losing all their assets. Following their move from a home which cost them $6,000 per year to an apartment costing $700, they were close to losing everything. Their business as well as the economy as a whole slowly recovered. HGTV and Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek asked a friend to assist him in creating the HGTV audition tape that showed his and Christina the process of flipping houses from beginning to end. The tape ended up in the hands of executives at the production company Pie Town Productions. The couple fell in love Tarek and Christina. They officially signed a HGTV deal in 2012. Flip of Flop was launched in the month of April 2013. Between 2013 until 2017, the show was a hit for 7 seasons. Christina and Tarek, who appeared as the main characters, bought properties, which were typically mid-income properties situated in Orange County. Tarek is focused on demolition and renovation while Christina is focused on designing as well as making sure all goes according to plan.
