While interviewing her McCrudden discovered that she was attractive when she appeared in front of cameras. McCrudden then invited her to host the YouTube series Before They Were Famous. Her first days hosting the show gave her nightmares as she often was confused by the names of the stars. In one incident, she got herself into controversy when she referred to FaZe Jennifer by the name Jason Eugene Vonderhaar. After the incident, she was one of the subjects of memes and there was also public outrage against her. FaZe Jen appreciated her apology video.
